MRC Secretary General Ahmed Shabin took part in the Migration Leadership Group Meeting, held in Geneva from 21st to 22nd April 2026.
The meeting brought together leaders from across the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement to discuss the RCRC Movement Migration Strategy, reinforcing the Movement's role in shaping global migration dialogues, strengthening National Society capacities, and advancing community resilience globally.
MRC's participation reflects its longstanding and active engagement within the Movement on migration, contributing to the shared objectives of the RCRC Movement Migration Strategy 2024–2030 to ensure safe, dignified access to services for people on the move, strengthen the resilience and inclusion of migrants, and uphold the rights, safety and dignity of the most vulnerable.
