Resignation of the President of Maldivian Red Crescent

Following the resignation, the Governing Board convened an Extra Ordinary Governing Board meeting on 4th January 2024 in which the members of the Governing Board unanimously agreed to officially transfer the responsibilities of the President to the First Vice President, Ms. Rasheeda Ali, in accordance with Maldivian Red Crescent Statutes. Ms. Rasheeda Ali will serve as the Interim President until the next General Assembly of Maldivian Red Crescent scheduled to be held in April 2025.
