Cause Related Marketing
Cause related marketing (CRM) can be a commercial activity where your organization and MRC form a formal partnership to market an image, product, or service for our mutual benefit. It is a simple and extremely effective way of differentiating your product and services and increase customer loyalty and sales
- Engaging your staff: MRC can engage your staff through capacity building, first aid training, and volunteering opportunities, building resilience and humanitarian values within your team.
- Public relations: Every time your organization participates in MRC's Programmes, there is a story worth sharing. Our teams actively support the promotion of partnerships to amplify your reach.
- Social media reach: MRC has a unique and engaged social media following, who are passionate supporters who share our values. Partnership gives your organization direct access to this community.
Tax exemption available. MRC is a registered charitable organisation under MIRA. All donations received through the Partners for Humanity Initiative are eligible for tax exemption as per Section 21(a) of the Income Tax Act 25/2019. A Partnership Tier Certificate and official donation receipt will be issued to all partners.
Partnership Tiers
The initiative is structured around four tiers. Each tier carries a minimum annual contribution and a defined package of benefits from training and services to visibility and event participation.
Bronze Tier
Starting from MVR 20,000 Minimum annual contribution
Silver Tier
Starting from MVR 50,000 Minimum annual contribution
Gold Tier
Starting from MVR 100,000 Minimum annual contribution
Platinum Tier
Starting from MVR 200,000 Minimum annual contribution

All partnership arrangements are subject to MRC's Corporate Screening Criteria. MRC reserves the right to decline or discontinue any partnership that is inconsistent with the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement or that could compromise MRC's neutrality, independence, or reputation.

Dhiraagu
Dhiraagu, the Maldives' leading telecommunications company, has been one of MRC's most committed corporate partners for over a decade. Dhiraagu has been at the forefront in supporting MRC supporting community based Programmes, support towards volunteer development and during disasters and emergencies. The partnership has since been renewed, continuing Dhiraagu's contribution to MRC's humanitarian work across the Country.
Bank of Maldives
Bank of Maldives, the Maldives' national bank has a longstanding commitment to community investment and social development. Since 2023, aBML's support contributes to MRC's humanitarian Programmes and services, reflecting a shared belief that strong communities are built through sustained, purposeful investment in people and their resilience.
Universal Foundation
Universal Foundation renewed its longstanding partnership with MRC. The Foundation's engagement with MRC spans several years and has included support for the Patient Transport Service and the first Health Camp in 2016, which provided specialist medical consultations to communities across Fuvahmulah and Kolhufushi
